Skaggs Cake Recipe

Does anyone recall the Skaggs Cake that was on the food menu at Woolco/Woolworth's back in the day? My brother-in-law had the recipe, but unfortunately has passed away without sharing his recipe. Sadly, his family members have dubbed it a "secret" family recipe and refuse to share it with anyone. The cake is AMAZING, and after all these years, I've decided to search it out to see if anyone out there might know of this cake and it's recipe. Any information that you might be able to scrape up would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
