Each week I will be asking us all to read passage from The Bible. Then I will ask some questions. Please answer in your own words Then we will talk about our answers. So here are the first 3 passages.
1) read Ephesian 1:3-8.. What is the meaning of this passage? Why is it importan ?
2) Read Acts 8:27-29: What is God telling Phillip to do?
3) Read Acts 8:30-37.. What is the importance of this passage?
4) Why is the Bible like a road map to us ?

Watch for a new bible study comming next Monday Or Tuesday

We are starting at church this Sunday. I am hoping to share it with all our Christian friends.
It has to do with what the Bible teaches of living and loving as a family.. It seems as it the family come first is loosing it's way. We will be looking at what God and the Bible say's of family values. I hope you will join me in how God looks at family living. I think it will be very rewarding...

Devotions taken from the messages of Adrian Rogers of Love Worth Finding

The Lesson of Prayer
“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10

Some time ago I was invited to preach in another state, but my schedule was such that I couldn’t arrange it. When they offered to send a private plane, I could do it.

As we flew over Arkansas, the pilot asked me if I wanted to try my hand at flying the plane, and I said, “Yes!”

Of course, he was sitting right next to me. He could fly the plane without me, but I couldn’t fly it without him. He had his hands on his controls all the while, and he allowed me to participate with him.

That’s the way prayer is. God can do it without you, but God enables you to have fellowship with Him and teaches you a dependency upon Him through prayer.

Meditate on 1 Chronicles 16:23-36.

Glory in His presence:
23)Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. 24)Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. 25)For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods. 26)For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the LORD made the heavens.

Hi, I'm new and just call me Z.
I am pursuer of knowledge and love discussion. My problem is how reluctant people are to voice their opinion. I'm not but I don't perceive I'm wrong or write, basically I try to approach matters humbly and with a quick prayer for the holy spirit to speak through me.

Angels have never been of an interest too me until lately a comment raised my desire to to learn.
Well I'm learning just how awesome they are and how God uses them. In the studies so far I have found that the bible only speaks of Gabriel and Michael but there are two more Raphael and Uriel - These four are considered Archangels.
So can anyone speak of knowledge concerning Raph and Uriel?
Thank you for your time in answering

The "Come Unto Me" bronze sculpture took more than a year to make its first appearance. Unveiled in the 2000, the original life-sized bronze monument stands in the grand foyer of the Spilsbury Mortuary in St. George Utah.
