This group only does all baking or cooking from scratch. No boxed foods are used. All natural products used for everything from breakfast to dessert and all the good stuff in between. If you have a recipe that you absolutely love and want others to try, please post it so we can all get a taste of something fresh and new!
We grow our own Wheat, peas, durum for pasta, lentils and canola. We love to use our products to make our food!
I'm sorry that I have been MIA for a while but I have been busy doing homework, working, being mommy and taking care of my mom. My mother had Lung Cancer but is now a 2 month cancer survivor.
My oldest son has been wanting a cake for some time now so I finally made him one. He likes to challenge me by asking me to bake something I have never baked before. Challenge accepted! He wanted this cake so I made it for him for his UnBirthday. Challenge accomplished! :)

I'm looking to want to start but no idea where I live in a mobile trailer we milk cows on someone's farm we are repairing our yard we have no garden/no storage space I think we need to start living more frugally we are a 3 person family on 147 dollars for food stamps food prices are to high we also have a diabetic,almost 5 year old we barely making it though the month any suggestions, recipes,ideas would be helpfuls
I need a little advice please. I have been working on a cake recipe. It has good flavor, raises nicely, finished cake is a beautiful golden color but is so moist it comes out kind of dense. The original recipe calls for 6 egg whites, should I decrease that to 5 or maybe even 4 egg whites? Or should I decrease the buttermilk? Please help.
