In the United States, a traditional way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day is to prepare a corned beef and cabbage meal. But if that’s not a dish your family enjoys, you can still get in on the fun by making festive green desserts for St. Patrick’s Day.<\/p>\n

Every St. Patrick’s Day Lisa Johnson<\/a> (Macon, GA<\/a>) makes her Shamrock Cookies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“It is so easy and simple to make them,” thinks Lisa of this recipe. “They are so good and tasty.”<\/p>\n

This is a simple sugar cookie recipe kids can help make. Adding green food coloring makes them festive and in theme for the holiday. <\/p>\n

After they’ve baked, they’re slightly crisp but still tender. I like that the recipe does not make a ton of cookies. <\/p>\n

“This cake uses a yellow cake mix, instant pistachio pudding, and it’s covered with a pistachio flavored whipped topping,” reveals Laura Davis<\/a> (Rusk, TX<\/a>) of her Pistachio Nut Cake<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pistachio pudding mix in the cake and frosting are a flavorful way to create a green dessert. This cake is extra moist because of the pudding addition. It’s an easy last-minute dessert to satisfy a sweet craving.<\/p>\n

Kathie Carr<\/a> (North Liberty, IN<\/a>) created her Go Irish Brownies<\/a> to watch a Notre Dame women’s basketball game, but thinks they’re great for St. Patrick’s Day, too.<\/p>\n

“Could anything be better than really fudgy brownies with an Irish twist?” asks Kathie. “I started with my favorite four squares of chocolate brownie recipe and added Irish Cream Liqueur.”<\/p>\n

The brownies themselves are rich and fudgy with hints of Irish cream flavor. On top is a sweet, tangy frosting that’s so good with the chocolaty brownies. Put these on a platter, and they’ll be gone in a flash.<\/p>\n

You will feel like the luckiest person in the world when you take your first bite of Pat Morris’<\/a> (Augusta, GA<\/a>) Luck Of The Irish Creme De Menthe Pie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“This is such an easy, light, pretty, and delicious pie, using just a few ingredients,” thinks Pat. “I like the cool mint flavor and a pretty green color.”<\/p>\n

Light and fluffy with a hint of mint flavor Pat’s no-bake pie is delicious. Each bite melts in your mouth.<\/p>\n

There’s an option to use a graham cracker crust or chocolate cookie crust. In the Test Kitchen, we tried it with a chocolate pie crust. The flavor combination reminds us of Junior Mint candy.<\/p>\n

Popcorn is one of my favorite snacks. Nancy Anderson<\/a> (Rigby, ID<\/a>) shared her St. Patrick’s Day Toffee Popcorn With White Chocolate<\/a> that’s over-the-top delicious.<\/p>\n

In Nancy’s recipe, a buttery and nutty toffee coats popcorn. Then, the popcorn is drizzled with sweet and smooth white chocolate bringing things to another level.<\/p>\n

Green food coloring is added to the toffee giving the popcorn a festive green tint.<\/p>\n
