Where has summer gone? Wasn’t Memorial Day just yesterday? I’ve blinked, fall is around the corner, and it’s time to say goodbye to summer at my Labor Day cookout. These flavorful Labor Day recipes will have my guests asking for seconds. <\/p>\n

“This recipe gives ribs an incredible flavor that you just need to try,” thinks David Kuhlmann<\/a> (Holstein, IA<\/a>). “Use it on any pork you wish to BBQ. Pork steaks, baby back ribs, spare ribs, short ribs country-style ribs, or St Louis-style ribs.”<\/p>\n

With a little sweetness and a bit of tang, you can’t go wrong with David’s BBQ Pork Ribs<\/a>. The marinade infuses the meat with tons of flavor.<\/p>\n

Cooking the ribs on indirect heat makes the meat extremely tender. It’s the fall of the bone goodness you’re looking for in ribs.<\/p>\n

Everyone will be impressed when you serve Rhonda Titus<\/a>‘ juicy Grilled BBQ Chicken<\/a>. It’s moist, flavorful, and easy to make.<\/p>\n

“This is a general recipe for juicy grilled chicken that can be changed by the spices you use,” reveals Rhonda. “You can use basic BBQ flavored spices or go with a Greek, Indian, Italian, or Mexican profile just by changing the spices you add.”<\/p>\n

The brine tenderizes and seasons the chicken so the meat has a nice flavor all the way through. Quickly flipping the chicken a few times helps to hold in the juices so it has time to bake without drying out.<\/p>\n

Deb’s sister explained to her, “that by adding a little butter it infuses the butter into the corn.”<\/p>\n

Making the corn in a pressure cooker is seriously easy and it turns out perfect. You don’t need to slather on any additional butter after this cooks. Sprinkle with a hint of salt and you have corn perfection.<\/p>\n

Some sort of pasta salad is always on my menu and Kathy W.’s<\/a> (Englewood, OH<\/a>) Edamame Pasta Salad<\/a> is not only colorful, but it also has tons of flavor. It tastes as good as it looks!<\/p>\n

“This is even better the next day,” shares Kathy. “Great to take on picnics or carry-outs.”<\/p>\n

Being able to make this a day ahead frees up some of my time in the kitchen before my cookout. Black beans and edamame add a different texture and interest to this dish. <\/p>\n

What I love, though, is the tangy dressing. It goes so well with all the fresh veggies. Since you’ll have dressing left over, try it on a simple green garden salad.<\/p>\n

This buckle has a light, fluffy, and slightly sweet bottom layer. A mixture of fruit provides a delicious sweet and tart layer of flavor. The buttery crumb topping has a slight spice to it that smells amazing while baking.<\/p>\n
