I’ve been preparing holiday meals for years. As I sit down to plan my Easter menu, I realized there may be newer cooks on Just A Pinch looking to cook their first Easter meal or more seasoned pros looking for an easy recipe swap. This week, I thought I’d share classic Easter dinner recipes anyone can prepare.<\/p>\n

“My grandma taught my mom how to make these when she was just a girl,” shares Barbara Scott<\/a> (Winchester, VA<\/a>). “I never cease getting raves about these deviled eggs, no matter where I take them.”<\/p>\n

Barbara’s Southern Deviled Eggs<\/a> remind me of my childhood. It’s a classic recipe where the hard-boiled egg is the star. The filling is creamy, slightly tangy, and sweet. A simple appetizer everyone will love.<\/p>\n

Cooking an Easter ham in the Crock Pot is a fabulous idea because it frees up the oven for other dishes. Amy Alusa<\/a> (Chico, CA<\/a>) shared her Easter Ham<\/a> recipe that’s prepared just this way.<\/p>\n

“I changed up the recipe that my mom always used which was very good, but not enough flavor for me,” explains Amy. “My family really loved it.”<\/p>\n

This ham doesn’t have the typical glaze. It’s a sweet juice with a hint of clove to give it spice. A delicious addition to your Easter table.<\/p>\n

The Easter Bunny loves carrots, and so do I. Tickie Young’s<\/a> (Upper Marlboro, MD<\/a>) No-Brainer Glazed Carrots<\/a> are perfect when you want to elevate a carrot side dish.<\/p>\n

“I used to go through the bother of making glazed carrots only to be frustrated at the time, money, and energy spent that usually did not yield consistent results,” reveals Tickie. “So I share my simple fast and delicious solution with all of you.”<\/p>\n

This is an easy dish you can whip up in no time. Orange marmalade adds a punch of citrus that’s balanced by the spicy cayenne pepper and fresh ginger. If you can simmer a pot of water, you can make these carrots.<\/p>\n

“Holidays just aren’t the same without green bean casserole,” thinks Jennifer DeShazo<\/a> (Rossville, TN<\/a>). “My family loves the extra ‘umph’ the added mushrooms and cheese provide!”<\/p>\n

When I saw Jennifer’s Cheesy Green Bean Casserole<\/a>, I knew I had to try it! And much to my delight, the cheese took it up several notches. It’s everything you love about green bean casserole with cheese added. Yum!<\/p>\n

“This is a great dish to serve during the holidays,” says Debbie Sue<\/a>. “I’ve been known to make my mashed potatoes early in the day to make things easier prior to baking.”<\/p>\n

Debbie Sue shared her Fancy Mashed Potatoes<\/a> that will be a fabulous addition to your Easter table. <\/p>\n

Adding a couple of simple ingredients to your regular mashed potatoes creates a remarkable side dish. Nowadays, there are store-bought mashed potatoes you can buy that are delicious and a time-saver.<\/p>\n

Heavy cream melts into the potatoes making them rich and silk. Swiss cheese folded in makes these nice and cheesy. The fat from the cream and cheese penetrates the potatoes giving them a silky texture.<\/p>\n
