Every year my Super Bowl menu changes. But there is one thing that I always make – chicken wings. They’re always a crowd favorite and I can suit the recipe based on everyone’s taste buds. These game-day chicken wings are always a winner.<\/p>\n

Nor Mac<\/a> prepares her Cranberry Sweet Hot Wings<\/a> in both the oven and a slow cooker.<\/p>\n

“You can make them as hot or not as hot if you want,” explains Nor. “They taste awesome either way. No one would ever guess what ingredients are used.”<\/p>\n

Sweet, tangy, moist, and tender these are fantastic chicken wings. Nor’s right when she says no one would guess the ingredients. Unusual, but it works.<\/p>\n

The oven-baked wings soak in a fantastic sauce made of cranberry sauce, Dijon mustard, orange, juice, brown sugar, honey, and a bunch of seasonings that are simmering in the slow cooker. Have napkins handy when eating. The meat just falls off the bone.<\/p>\n

“These wings are delicious,” thinks Teresa Clayton<\/a> (Byhalia, MS<\/a>) of her Wings Worth The Wait<\/a>. “A bit of heat and a bit of sweet.”<\/p>\n

What I like about this recipe is that the wings are both baked and fried. They get super crispy and the meat is juicy. <\/p>\n

Teresa coats the wings in a combination of wing sauce, green chiles, brown sugar, and Tabasco sauce. The result is sticky wings with a touch of heat.<\/p>\n

“If you love chicken wings but hate that they are fried, this is for you,” says Diane Wicktora<\/a> (Fairfield, OH<\/a>). “These Oven Crisp Chicken Wings<\/a> turn out crispy just like they were fried.”<\/p>\n

Diane shares a seasoning combination she coats her wings in before they’re baked. The seasoning mix gives just a hint of flavor to the wings. After baking, the meat is juicy and the skin is crispy. <\/p>\n

I tried them with and without Buffalo sauce. Both were delish. A great recipe for someone that likes wings, but may not like Buffalo wings.<\/p>\n

These next two recipes are a way to up the flavor of your chicken wings. Prepare them in your favorite way (baked, fried, air fried, etc) and coat them in one of these sauces.<\/p>\n

Michele Wolf’s<\/a> (Berlin, NJ<\/a>) Favorite Garlic Parm Wings<\/a> are fabulous.<\/p>\n

“Hot wings are so common, yet this recipe really stands out for our family,” shares Michelle. “We love them and we put the sauce on every type of chicken, not just wings.”<\/p>\n

This wing sauce is buttery and creamy with great Parmesan flavor. The garlic is not very strong. <\/p>\n

If you want a stronger garlic flavor, add a bit of garlic powder to pump up the flavor. A bit sweeter, add honey as Michelle suggests.<\/p>\n

“I have been looking for a recipe for the Daytona Hot Wings<\/a> like the ones they serve at Hooters,” reveals Lisa Johnson<\/a> (Fort Worth, TX<\/a>). “I have found several recipes, combined them, changed some ingredients, and come up with my own.”<\/p>\n

These are better than any wings I’ve had a wing joint! They’re slightly sweet with a punch of heat but not overpoweringly hot.<\/p>\n

The sticky sauce is the perfect combination of flavors. I highly suggest doubling or tripling the recipe… they’re going to go fast.<\/p>\n
