Even though there’s been a lot of buzz about Thanksgiving, did it sneak up on you? It seems time is flying these days. If you haven’t even thought about Thanksgiving dinner, or have to bring something to dinner, I’ve put together a last-minute Thanksgiving meal that any level cook can prepare.<\/p>\n

Carla Tipton’s<\/a> (Dublin, OH<\/a>) Crabmeat Goodies Appetizer<\/a> is one of the apps where you try one bite and can’t stop eating.<\/p>\n

“I make this when I am asked to bring an appetizer to parties or when we have guests,” reveals Carla.<\/p>\n

You’ll taste the distinct flavors from the Worcestershire sauce and the lemon juice that is mixed with cream cheese. Chili sauce and crabmeat are poured on top. It’s quick to prepare and easy to transport. Great for the holidays.<\/p>\n

Ashley Burnam’s<\/a> (Phoenix, AZ<\/a>) Thanksgiving Teaser Roast Turkey Breast<\/a> has all the traditional flavors of Thanksgiving turkey but on a much smaller scale.<\/p>\n

“This recipe is really held together by the seasoning blend I made which I will list on here,” explains Ashley. “The turkey is also really great for sandwiches if you’re trying to cut down on deli meat!”<\/p>\n

The seasoning is a great mixture of spices. Placing the butter under the skin adds so much flavor and makes the meat super moist. I loved the added flavor carrots and onions give the turkey breast and the broth. This turkey recipe is super easy and bakes to perfection.<\/p>\n

Mashed potatoes and green bean casserole are two traditional sides. There are store-bought mashed potatoes in the refrigerated section that are amazing. Just add a little butter after heating them up and no one will guess you didn’t make them yourself.<\/p>\n

But, instead of green bean casserole, add Sara Andrea’s<\/a> (Eugene, OR<\/a>) Bacon Bundled Green Beans<\/a> as an additional side. “These little green bean bundles are easy to make, delicious, and look fabulous on the plate,” shares Sara.<\/p>\n

Green bean bundles are a fun and different holiday side dish. This version is sweet and savory with crisp green beans wrapped in caramelized bacon. Pre-cooking the bacon means it won’t shrink as much as bacon traditionally would when baked.<\/p>\n

These green bean bundles have an amazing flavor. Your guests will be impressed when these are on your holiday table.<\/p>\n

Even when preparing a last-minute Thanksgiving meal, you need dessert. They are always popular, so I’m sharing two super easy ones that have all the flavors of Thanksgiving without the work.<\/p>\n

“This is unbelievably easy, and everyone will ask for the recipe,” thinks Dawn Steele<\/a> (Toledo, OH<\/a>). “I serve this instead of pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving!”<\/p>\n

Who doesn’t love a cobbler? This Pumpkin Cobbler<\/a> is super easy to make and can be a great substitute for pumpkin pie. It’s much easier to make than pie, so a newbie baker can easily make this.<\/p>\n

The filling is rich and creamy, a little looser than a pie filling. The topping is sweet, buttery, and crunchy. Serve with whipped cream for an easy holiday dessert.<\/p>\n

Betty Campisi<\/a> (Kaplan, LA<\/a>) shares that her Pecan Pie Cake<\/a> “is such an easy dessert” and it really is. You can serve this hot or cold.<\/p>\n

I love the sweet and crunchy pecan pie topping. The pecan pie filling cooks into the butter cake giving the dessert a nice, chewy texture. Cut into bars, place on a plate, and watch these disappear.<\/p>\n
