Apple, apples everywhere! My farmer’s market and grocery store shelves are filled with apples. During this time of the year, I like to incorporate apples into different types of recipes.<\/p>\n

“This Pork Chops With Apple & Pear Chutney<\/a> recipe is a family fave,” explains Megan Todd<\/a> (Warren, OH<\/a>). “My husband’s favorite way to eat pork chops or even top the chutney on a pork roast.”<\/p>\n

These pork chops are a fantastic fall dinner. The spices in the recipe make the meal. The seasoned pork chops are savory.<\/p>\n

Topped with a sweet, spicy, and tart apple and pear chutney, it’s the perfect combination. Every bite is rich in flavor. Your family will love these pork chops.<\/p>\n

When I was a little kid, I always enjoyed apple butter on toast when I went to my Aunt Margaret’s. Russ Myers’<\/a> (Necedah, WI<\/a>) Mind-Blowing Apple Butter Recipe<\/a> brought back some wonderful childhood memories.<\/p>\n

“An almost forgotten delicious sandwich spread,” thinks Russ and I would agree.<\/p>\n

I used Granny Smith apples when making this apple butter and loved their sweet\/tart flavor. It’s filled with fall spices. Besides toast, try this on waffles or french toast. So good!<\/p>\n

Dave T.<\/a> shared his recipe for Fried Apples<\/a> that’s also a delicious topping.<\/p>\n

“Little twist on traditional fried apples, and absolutely delicious,” shares Dave. “Use on biscuits, pancakes, waffles, or just as a side for breakfast or with pork chops.”<\/p>\n

These fried apples are so good you’ll find yourself munching on them alone. They taste like apple pie filling. I added them to the top of waffles for a delicious breakfast treat. But they’d be good on buttered biscuits or over vanilla ice cream.<\/p>\n

Christine M.’s<\/a> (Medford, MA<\/a>) posted a fantastic fall twist on grilled cheese with her New England Style Grilled Cheese<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“This combination is inspired by the Cape Codder (cranberries) and a classic New England fall activity (apple picking),” reveals Christine. “The tartness from the cranberries and sweetness from the apples pair well with the sharp cheddar.”<\/p>\n

The sharp, tangy cheese mixed with the sweet, crunchy apple is a great combo. Throw in the tart cranberries and this is a winning sandwich. So easy and so good, this is something you may have in a small shop with a cup of hot cider.<\/p>\n

Is it fall if you don’t make an apple crisp? If you like your apple crisp without oats, then Katrina Freed’s <\/a>(Newark, DE<\/a>) Apple Crisp<\/a> is for you.<\/p>\n

“Over the years I have tried a number of apple crisp recipes and this is my favorite,” says Katrina. “I love it because it is so easy and there is not much cleanup. It is easily divided to be just enough for two.”<\/p>\n

This has a lot of crumbs that cover and fill in between the apples. When it bakes, it sort of creates a cobbler-like texture on the inside and a buttery crisp crumb on top. The mix of tart spiced apples makes this an awesome (and easy) apple crisp recipe.<\/p>\n
