When I walk to my local farmer’s market and see rows and rows of fresh strawberries, my eyes light up. There’s nothing better than biting into a fresh summer strawberry. Well, maybe there is… Biting into one of these 5 recipes with strawberries being the star ingredient!<\/p>\n

“These are a delicious treat for breakfast or company,” thinks Lisa Foote<\/a> (Castle Pines, CO<\/a>) of her Strawberry Scones With Orange Drizzle<\/a>. “These are light and delicate.”<\/p>\n

Get out the teapot or coffee maker… You’ll want a bit of coffee or tea to go along with these delicious little scones. Super simple to make, they melt in your mouth. The outside has a nice crunch, while the inside is soft and airy. We loved the bits of strawberry throughout. And that orange drizzle is a must! It adds the perfect touch of sweetness. <\/p>\n

Rachel Weyerman’s<\/a> (Cloverdale, MI<\/a>) Summertime Strawberry Pie<\/a> is an impressive and easy dessert for summer cookouts. <\/p>\n

“It’s a cold pie, not baked,” explains Rachel. The only thing that needs to be baked is the pre-made crust so this will be great on a hot summer day when you don’t want to turn on the stove for too long. Ginger ale adds a great kick to complement the sweet strawberries. A dollop of whipped cream finishes this pie wonderfully.<\/p>\n

Another easy no-bake dessert is Catherine Thompson Floyd’s<\/a> (Burlington, MI<\/a>) Strawberry Shortcake Red, White & Blue Bites<\/a>. “Just a bite of deliciousness,” says Catherine. “Strawberry, cake, whipped cream, and a blueberry topping to pop into your mouth and enjoy!”<\/p>\n

These sweet little bites made my taste buds so happy. They’re a fun Fourth of July dessert, but they’ll be adorable at any summer party. The cake and strawberry combine to make a great filling.<\/p>\n

“This dessert is my family’s all-time favorite and super easy to make,” shares Melissa Turner<\/a> (East Moline, IL<\/a>). “Trust me if you make this Banana Split Brownie Cake<\/a> once whoever eats it will beg you to make it all the time.”<\/p>\n

Ok, strawberries and bananas… that’s two servings of fruit – right? This is a quick & easy dessert. It will satisfy both the fruit and chocolate lover!<\/p>\n

I love making a trifle and think they’re underrated. Brenda Nance<\/a> (Lexington, NC<\/a>) loves one too and shared her tasty Strawberry and Chocolate Brownie Trifle<\/a> with us. “This is a simple but elegant dessert to take to a party or make for the family,” reveals Brenda. “People will think you spent a lot more time making it than you did.”<\/p>\n

The cream layer makes this an exceptional dessert. Mascarpone is decadent and adding balsamic takes it to the next level. I love the chocolate, strawberry, and balsamic flavor combination in this easy dessert. You could even buy pre-made brownies simplifying the recipe even more.<\/p>\n
