As a kid, nothing made me smile more than a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I had a very specific way of eating it too – must be on white bread, peanut butter on both pieces of bread, jelly in the middle (so the bread does not get soggy) and cut on a diagonal. <\/p>\n

Now that I’m grown up, I still smile when I taste peanut butter and jelly. I love how Just A Pinch members have turned this classic kids flavor combo into some amazing PB&J desserts! <\/p>\n

Jutta Lenihan’s<\/a><\/strong> Peanut Butter & Jelly Poke Cake<\/a><\/strong> may actually be better than a PB&J sandwich. “Forget about the sandwich, have some cake for breakfast,” jokes Jutta. <\/p>\n

With just the right amount of sweetness, this will be great for anything from breakfast to a bake sale or an after-school treat. It’s everything PB&J you love, only in cake form.<\/p>\n

Really… who doesn’t love cupcakes? Deneece Gursky<\/a><\/strong> does and she turned the sandwich into fun Peanut Butter and Jelly Cupcakes<\/a><\/strong>. Kids – big and small – are going to love these!<\/p>\n

“You can use any kind of preserves or jam, I used grape jam since it is my son’s favorite,” shares Deneece. “I myself would prefer them with some blueberry or blackberry preserves.” We went with traditional grape and were not disappointed. <\/p>\n

Becky Hudgings <\/a><\/strong>turned an ordinary dump cake into something might special when she created her super easy Chocolate PBJ Banana Upside Down Dump Cake<\/a><\/strong>. “Topped with vanilla ice cream, it’s just like a sundae,” says Becky.<\/p>\n

I followed her suggestion of using orange marmalade, and what a treat that was. The flavors blend really well with the peanut butter and bananas. I think strawberry preserves would be fab too. <\/p>\n

“We love crunchy peanut butter and cherry jam together,” explains Kait H<\/a><\/strong>. “I always have to make three batches of my Double Crunch Peanut Butter and Jam Bars<\/a><\/strong> so everyone gets seconds.”<\/p>\n

These bars are fantastic! The crunchy peanut butter and the peanuts give a nice texture to the bars. And, the cookie is not overly sweet. It goes perfectly with the cherry jam.<\/p>\n

“If you like PB&J sandwiches, you will love this,” says Lindsay Dougherty<\/a><\/strong> of her PB&J Cheesecake<\/a><\/strong>. “It is fairly simple to make and perfect for parties.”<\/p>\n

Now this is a cheesecake that everyone will love! It’s quick, easy and full of flavor. We really liked the crunch the peanuts added to the top of these treats. <\/p>\n
