We’re football fanatics in my house and every year we host a party for the Super Bowl. Friends and family come over and we dig in to some tasty football food<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Next to choosing what team to root for (that’s if my team isn’t playing), the menu is the most important topic in our crowd.<\/p>\n

Dips<\/a><\/strong> are always big at my game-day parties. And, truth be told, I could sit down in front of the big game and make quite a dent in Pat Thompson’s<\/a><\/strong> Super Bowl Taco Showdown<\/a><\/strong> delicious dip all by myself! It’s addictive.<\/p>\n

\u201cEasy, filling, tasty and a winner,” says Pat. You get all the flavors of a taco, but without the mess. You’ll want to add the tortilla chips and dressing right before serving in order to retain a nice texture.<\/p>\n

Nicole Darty’s<\/a><\/strong> Crab-Artichoke Dip<\/a><\/strong> is good for parties, game nights, tailgates… I’d be hard-pressed to come up with an occasion where this yummy dip would not be welcome. <\/p>\n

The addition of crab and dill is a nice twist to traditional artichoke dip<\/a><\/strong> and add great flavor. If you’re not a big fan of dill, cut back a little on your measurement. It will still be delish!<\/p>\n

“The flavor of these beans are really good, even if you choose to omit or reduce the amount of cayenne pepper,” shares Joyce Newman<\/a><\/strong> of her Super Bowl Award Winning Chili<\/a><\/strong> recipe. <\/p>\n

I plan on serving a pot of chili at the party and this recipe has just the right balance of heat and flavor. A wonderfully solid chili for the hearty eaters in your life.<\/p>\n

To me, no football party is complete without some sort of “buffalo” recipe. Nelda Carnley’s<\/a><\/strong> Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches<\/a><\/strong> are so good and your guests will never guess how super easy they were to make. It’s like wings and a hoagie all rolled into one. <\/p>\n

Use your family favorite buffalo wing sauce and I can guarantee these will go fast (they did in the Test Kitchen!). Some ranch or bleu cheese dressing would be yummy for dipping too!<\/p>\n

There’s only one thing that could make Geoffry Le Cher’s<\/a><\/strong> Southwest Chicken Chimichangas<\/a><\/strong> any better… a big side of queso! “These are excellent football food items, explains Geoffry. “Since they are so easy to prepare, you won’t be stuck in the kitchen while everybody else is watching the game.” <\/p>\n

With so much cooking to do when preparing a party, using a store bought rotisserie chicken is a great time-saving tip. There are some big flavors in this great recipe.<\/p>\n

“These are a saucy kind of sweet wing,” says Mandy Bidwell<\/a><\/strong> of her Grandma’s Famous Party Wings<\/a><\/strong>. “Keep plenty of napkins nearby!” These are sweet, spicy and oh so good! <\/p>\n

The meat falls off the bone when they’re done baking. These are a perfect party recipe – make the sauce, stick everything in the oven and forget about them for 3 hours. How easy?!<\/p>\n
