Easter is the perfect time to make colored deviled eggs.<\/p>\n<p>In this recipe, we&#8217;ll walk you through how to make the perfect deviled egg and show you the one extra (easy) step that&#8217;s needed to make them colorful. The final product is not only delicious, but it will also be a beautiful addition to any Easter table.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re so good, you&#8217;ll want to use this process for other holidays. Simply adjust the color dye and you can make festive deviled eggs for Fourth of July, Halloween, St. Patrick&#8217;s Day, Christmas, etc.<br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><\/p>\n<h3>Ingredients<\/h3>\n<p><b>For Hard-Boiled Eggs<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>12 eggs<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; 3 Tbsp white vinegar<\/li>\n<li>2 qt ice water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n<b>Filling<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 c mayonnaise<\/li>\n<li>1 Tbsp yellow mustard<\/li>\n<li>3 Tbsp sweet relish<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/8 tsp black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<b>Dyed Eggs<\/b><\/p>\n<li>4 &#8211; 5 drops food coloring (your choice of color)<\/li>\n<li>3 c water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div><\/p>\n<h3>Instructions for Colored Deviled Eggs<\/h3>\n<p><div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n1. Fill a pot halfway with water. Bring water to a rolling boil then turn it to medium heat.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n2. Use a spoon to gently place eggs in the pot.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n3. Let eggs cook uncovered on medium heat for 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n4. Turn off the heat and cover the pot. Let the eggs sit in the hot water for an additional 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n5. Add ice, water, and 2-3 Tbsp of white vinegar to a 2-quart bowl. Using a spoon put the cooked eggs into the ice water. Let cool for 15 to 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n6. Remove eggshells.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n7. Rinse eggs with cool water.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n8. Slice the eggs in half longways. Remove the yolks.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n9. Mix the mayonnaise, mustard, relish, salt, and pepper. Depending on how smooth you like the filling, use a fork or a hand mixer.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n10. In three bowls, add 4 to 5 drops of food coloring. When using a light color, like yellow or yellow-green, drops of color may need to be added to the water for more vibrant color.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n11. Then add 1 cup of water in each bowl.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n12. Add 8 egg white halves to each bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n13. Remove the dyed egg whites from the bowls. Let them drain on a paper towel.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n14. Fill each dyed egg white with yolk filling.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\n15.
