Follow these steps from the Test Kitchen and you&#8217;ll perfect the perfect poached egg.<\/p>\n<h3>Ingredients<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp white vinegar<\/li>\n<li>eggs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to Make Poached Eggs<\/h3>\n<p><div class=\"rcp-content-block\">Step 1. Bring a saucepan, filled about halfway with water, to a boil.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<\/div><div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\nStep 2. Add about 1\/2 teaspoon of salt.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<\/div><div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\nStep 3. Next, add approximately 1 teaspoon of white vinegar.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<\/div><div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\nStep 4. Turn the burner down to low and stir with the handle of a wooden spoon.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<\/div><div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\nStep 5. Drop an egg into the vortex. Set a timer for 4 minutes.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<\/div><div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\nStep 6. A little bit of the thinner part of the egg whites will float to the top.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<\/div><div class=\"rcp-content-block\"><br \/>\nStep 7.
