We award actual Blue Ribbons for extreme deliciousness - And they're magnetic! Refrigerators have never looked so good. ) And each week different members are featured for their kitchen cunning… on the Club homepage, in their hometown newspaper, on Facebook. Who knows, sky-writing may be next!

This Club truly belongs to its members, people who are making the world a tastier place every day. Print, rate, comment on and share thousands of hometown food favorites, then personally say hello to the cooks who made them. This is your community, where grandma’s recipe just replaced gourmet.

Posting a recipe is easy. Just click the "Post A Recipe" button that appears in your Utensil Drawer. You'll be taken to the recipe entry page where you can add/edit until your recipe is just right! (Don't forget, once you post a recipe you can always go back and make changes. Easy as pie.) Mmm... did someone say pie?! Not sure where to find your Utensil Drawer? Log in, then click the red OPEN button at the top of the page.

Can I post a recipe that I didn't create... like from a cookbook or a friend?

Yes, copyright law doesn't protect recipes that are mere listings of ingredients and basic instructions. Copyright law may protect a description, explanation or photo that accompanies a recipe, though, as well as a combination of recipes...such as a cookbook. With this in mind, you are welcome to post recipes of others on this website as long as you acknowledge the source of the recipe and, when in doubt as to whether the description is protected, post your own description or only the listing of ingredients and basic instructions.

You should only post photos or illustrations that accompany recipes if you have permission from the owner. If you don't have permission, you should prepare the recipe and post your own photo of the dish. By posting a recipe and accompanying content on our website, you are representing to us that, to the best of your knowledge, the recipe and the content does not infringe anyone's rights, and are granting us permission to edit the recipe and to publish the recipe and the content on this website for others to use, copy, edit, and download free of charge.

Are there any limitations on the number of recipes I can post?

The sky is the limit! Create a digital recipe box filled with all your favorite dishes. Post as many recipes as you like – Then go back and make changes to them at any time. You can even adopt up to five existing recipes that don't yet have an owner! No stains, no smudges... just good eats.

How do I find a new recipe?

One of the fun parts of the Club is the many different ways to discover new treats. We recommend getting started on the Recipes tab where you can see new recipes, browse by food categories and even search for recipes containing specific items already in your pantry!

How do I customize a recipe?

Premium Club members can customize recipes with their own notes, measurements, pairing ideas, and the like!

Click the blue CUSTOMIZE button on any recipe to create your own for-your-eyes-only version. Your custom version will be saved to your Recipe Box and will also be available to you on the recipe page the next time you're ready to make the dish or publish it in a cookbook!

(HINT: You can tell if you've already got a custom version of a recipe if the blue CUSTOMIZE button has been replaced by a new MY NOTES button. Easy peasy!)

I noticed that I can print recipes onto Avery cards? What are those?

We offer several size options to choose from when printing recipes: 3x5", 4x6", full-page and more. One option sizes your recipes to print straight to Avery brand 4x6" postcards (#5389). It's an easy way to save your favorite recipes and pop them straight into your counter-top recipe box. In fact, be on the lookout for these and other fun goodies to be popping up in the Club soon!

Who is Janet and how does she pick her featured recipes?

Janet Tharpe is your hostess at the Just A Pinch Recipe Club. She is an accomplished cook and experienced culinary school chef's assistant who is constantly stirring, mixing, baking and brewing up your tasty recipes in her test kitchen. She is joined in the kitchen by her daughter-in-law, Krissi, and the rest of the Just A Pinch Kitchen Crew. Her passion is food and she enjoys nothing more than bringing your hometown recipes to America's table. [Read more about Janet]

How do I get a Blue Ribbon or my recipe featured?!

Nothing top secret here, folks. Like many of you, Janet is in her kitchen every day cooking for her friends and family. She loves testing and tasting the varied recipes submitted by Members like you. Each recipe that's posted is reviewed, and those that she and the Crew believe have Blue Ribbon potential get whipped up in the Test Kitchen. When Janet comes across an exceptional dish in the kitchen, well, she pins a Blue Ribbon on it and it becomes one of her "Picks"! Additionally, one outstanding recipe is elevated to "Feature" status each week and that recipe is put in the spotlight.

Now, only recipes from members with a photo of themselves in their profile can be featured, so say cheese and let us see that smiling face. Who knows, Janet may be serving up your dish as the next Blue Ribbon Pick!

What do Honorary Kitchen Crew members do?

As a member of the Honorary Crew not only does your photo hang on our Wall of Fame, but you also gain the opportunity to turn your own kitchen into a test kitchen! Here’s how it works:

VOLUNTEER - Testing recipes is completely OPTIONAL. Participation in the Test Kitchen is only open to Honorary Crew members, but is not a requirement. With over 150,000 active Club members, there are plenty of recipes to test! (No compensation is provided to volunteers... just fun!)

RESERVE - Participating Honorary Crew members can cook as much - or as little - as they like. They may request to try any recipe they wish, and may also receive suggestions from Janet. Every recipe posted to the Club is considered for Blue Ribbon testing.

TASTE - This is the best part… the cooking!

PHOTOGRAPH - The Honorary Crew members snap pics of their finished dishes, which are later added to the recipe page.

REVIEW - Test Kitchen members submit reviews of the dishes they try via an official form, and the very best ones are nominated for Blue Ribbons! Comments from the nominating Test Kitchen member will appear on each Blue Ribbon recipe page. Real people honoring real recipes!

RESPECT - Members of the Test Kitchen are asked to remain neutral throughout all of their testing. Great effort is taken to ensure that all cooks from all areas are considered equally. Crew members agree not to disclose information about the results of their testing - No hurt feeling allowed in our kitchen!

How can I become part of the Honorary Kitchen Crew?

As you know, great recipes lead to smiling faces... and maybe even a Blue Ribbon. Well, we're proud to announce that the Club members who have earned the highest number of Blue Ribbons now have their very own Honorary Kitchen Crew Wall of Fame!

These true blue cooks hold a special place in our hearts and at our tables, so we're making everyone who earns 6 or more Blue Ribbons - or wins a Just A Pinch recipe contest - an honorary member of the Just A Pinch Kitchen Crew... and we're hanging their picture on our Wall! Stop in and meet these friendly folks.

Watch for more Honorary Crew spottings in the coming weeks as they team up with Janet to taste test YOUR recipes and nominate Blue Ribbons! Keep posting your recipes and, who knows, you may be the next to join the Honorary Crew!

Can I send an e-mail directly to Janet?

It's hard to type wearing oven mitts... believe me she's tried! And since Janet can usually be found in the kitchen whipping up your new recipes, she's not always able to answer individual e-mails. If you've got a cooking question, feel free to pose it to your fellow members by leaving a comment or posting to a Group. Need help with the site or have a question about your membership? We are here to help. Support questions can be sent directly to the Just A Pinch Team at help@justapinch.com

I'm having trouble printing coupons, what can I do?

Just A Pinch has teamed-up with national coupon providers and brought them together to bring you valuable coupons. Each provider uses its own "print manager" to allow members to print coupons securely and, therefore, allow manufacturers to continue to pass along savings to you. If you encounter a problem while printing a coupon that is provided, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Help or FAQ link to get support specific to that particular print manager.

I got a message telling me a coupon is no longer available. Why did this happen?

Some coupons are only available for a limited time. When the coupon offer ends or has been printed the maximum number of times allowed by the provider, you will be unable to print it. We refresh our coupons each and every day, but you may occasionally encounter a coupon that you're unable to print. Please check back often to make the most of the available savings!
