Ingredients For wilted dandelion greens

  • 4 C. tender, young dandelion greens, shredded
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 3 Tbs. cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • pepper to taste

How To Make wilted dandelion greens

  • 1
    Fry bacon until crisp, remove from heat. Save the bacon grease. Drain bacon and crumble on top of greens. Over medium heat, reheat bacon grease and add/mix all other ingredients. When hot, pour over greens. Toss until the greens are wilted. Serve immediately.
