This is a great cake for the summer! What I try to do is bake the cake first thing in the morning while it is cool! Once the cake is baked the rest is easy! I have used both fresh and frozen strawberries. I really like to slice my own fresh strawberries and put a little sugar and let them sit a little while to make like a juice!
It is a cold and refreshing dessert for the summer!Especially when it is a hot summer day and you want something cool! I actually make this year round though!
