Ingredients

5-6
potatoes, medium
8 oz
cream cheese
1 lb
bacon
2 large
onions
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup

Directions Step-By-Step

Peal and dice potatoes. Put in a large pot. Just enough water to cover potatoes. Add salt & pepper if desired, to taste.

Chop onions and bacon. Fry bacon till crisp. Crush even smaller. After bacon is done pour off most of bacon fat. Add onion to fat in pan and just saute until onions are glossy.

When potatoes are cooked do not pour off water. Add Cream Cheese to water in small bits. Stir till melted. Add Soup and Bacon and Onion. Salt and Pepper if desired. I add a bit of butter here too but its just something I do.

Cook a few minuets until mixed well and hot. Serve with crackers and a salad. Tastes better the next day too.
