Potato Vegetable Chowder

Ingredients

3 Tbsp
butter
1/4 c
onion, chopped
3 tsp
instant chicken bouillon
1/4 tsp
thyme leaves, dried
1/8 tsp
pepper
2 c
milk
1 c
water
2 c
potatoes, cooked and cubed
1 c
cooked cubed ham
1 pkg
frozen mixed vegetables, thawed

Step-By-Step

1Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat.

2Stir in onion; cook until tender.

3Stir in flour, bouillon, thyme and pepper.

4Cook until mixture is smooth and bubbly.

5Gradually stir in milk and water; cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.

6Add potatoes, ham and vegetables.

7Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
