Lad's French Onion Soup

French onion soup is one of my favorite soups. I think the key to a great soup is the broth. I make my own beef broth by browning bones them cooking them with lot's of vegetables. I also love the addition of homemade mushroom broth as it makes the soup so flavorful.
I also like to add a little mustard to the garlic toast for flavor, I had this at a restaurant and began making mine this way.
