This was a staple during the "Great Depression".
I can still remember my Grandmother making this recipe and serving it as "the meal" for the day.

Ingredients

2 c
fresh or canned corn
1 qt
milk
2 tsp
all purpose flour
1 dash(es)
pepper
1 small
onion, diced (optional)

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix flour with small amount of milk.
Combine with remaining ingredients

Bring to gentle boil, cook 10 minutes over medium heat.

Serve in large bowls adding a dab of butter to each.
