I know everybody has to have this soup at one time or another...but I figure I'd still post it.

Ingredients For cabbage soup

  • 1
    cabbage head, chopped
  • 6 lg
    green onions, diced
  • 2 sm
    green peppers, diced
  • 2 can
    diced tomatoes with garlic & onions
  • 1 bunch
    celery, diced
  • 1 pkg
    lipton dry onion soup mix
  • 2
    vegetable bouillon cubes, low salt or no salt
  • 34 oz
    water
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • parsley, to taste

How To Make cabbage soup

  • 1
    After dicing all vegetables, cover with *water. Boil for 10 minutes. * V-8 (Low Sodium) & water can be used.

    Reduce to simmer, add onion soup mix. Continue cooking until vegetables are tender, about 20 - 30 minutes.

    Season to taste with salt, pepper, parsley, etc.
