My son had this at his friends house. Loved it!!!

Ingredients

1 lb
italian sausage, mild
2 large
russet baking potatoes
1 large
onion, chopped
1/4 c
bacon bits
2
garlic cloves, minced
2 c
fresh kale, chopped
2 can(s)
chicken broth
1 qt
water
1 c
heavy whipping cream

Step-By-Step

1Chop or slice uncooked sausage into small pieces
Brown sausage in your soup pot
Add chicken broth and water to pot and stir
2Place onions, potatoes (slice in half,and then in 1/4 inch slices
Cook on medium heat until potatoes are done
3Add sausage and bacon
Salt and pepper to taste
Simmer for another 10 minutes
4Turn to low heat
Add kale and cream
Heat through and serve
