this is a better flavored potato soup then what I have had in the past.

Ingredients For fried potaot soup

  • 6-8 oz
    chopped bacon
  • 2 c
    cleaned unpiled white or yeelow potato's
  • 1 c
    dice onion (i used vadila)
  • 3/4 c
    dice celary
  • 1/2 c
    dice carrots (i used baby carrot, they cook faster)
  • 4 c
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    season salt
  • 1 tsp
    ground pepper
  • 1/2 c
    instant potato
  • 1/2 c
    sherred chedder cheese

How To Make fried potaot soup

  • 1
    cook the diced bacon over medium heat, till crispy, do not drain
  • 2
    add all the veggies cooking still over medium heat till the potato's are golden brown and other veggies are done. add the season salt and pepper.

    add milk, bring back to boil
  • 4
    add instant potatoes this is your thickener
  • 5
    when thick add the cheese
