I came up with this recipe yesterday as I had a lot of milk about to go sour on me,and I like to put it to good use before that happens.I really really like this soup so I named it. Connie's Country Soup

Ingredients

3 large
baking potatoes
1 stalk(s)
celery
1 c
baby carrots
2 small
chicken bouillon cubes
1 c
water
4 c
milk
1/2 c
flour
1 c
sour cream
1 pkg
turkey bacon
2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
black pepper
1/4 c
butter
1 small
onion

Step-By-Step

1Chop up vegetables fist. Then chop up turkey bacon also. Microwave 3 large baking potatoes,one at a time with two very wet paper towels on top of each potato as it cooks for nine minutes each.Let cool then peel and cut into very large chunks.Set aside.
2Use medium size soup pot.Add to the pot the butter and all vegetables,turkey bacon.Simmer and keep stirring for seven to ten minutes until tender.
3Have a boiling cup of water ready with two chicken bullion cubes in it to melt.First stir in the 1/2 cup flour then the cup of broth,next 4 cups of milk,i cup sour cream and now add the potatoes and salt and pepper.Put stove on low and heat until all is good and hot--keeping on low heat as this is a rich soup.
4Enjoyed this all by itself.Did not even add bread,crackers or cheese to this one.Hope you ENJOY.
