Cold Shrimp Soup

This is a recipe that I got from a co-worker over 30 years ago. I loved it then, and I love it now. I hadn't made it for several years, until I finally found the recipe again and made it for Christmas. Everyone loved it.

Sometimes I just put it in a mug and drink it!

Ingredients

1 qt
tomato juice
1 can(s)
small shrimp, drained
1/2 c
diced green pepper
2 Tbsp
lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp
horseradish, grated
1
minced onion
1 bottle
shrimp cocktail sauce (usually 8 ounces)
2 c
diced celery
1/2 c
sugar
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp
garlic
salt to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix all ingredients and refrigerate overnight. Serve cold.
