This is one of our favorite potato soups.

I got it from a cookbook called Mystic Mountain Memories by Josie and Jerry Minerich.
Prep and cook time are a guess

Ingredients

2 medium
red potatoes
3 to 4 c
milk
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1/2 lb
cheddar cheese , diced
1/2 tsp
garlic salt
1/2 tsp
seasoning salt
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
pepper
2 tsp
parsley flakes
dash(es)
nutmeg

Step-By-Step

1Scrub or peel potatoes. ( I usually peel mine.)
Cut into pieces and boil only until potatoes are tender.
2Drain and mash slightly with fork, leaving chunky.
3In the same pan, add milk, soup and seasonings, stirring until heated thoroughly. Do not boil.
4Stir in cheese until melted. Taste it and add more cheese or seasoning if desired.
