My family loves this potato soup. I have tried several but this is the one they always ask for. It is so good on a cold day!

Ingredients For cheesey potato soup

  • 4-5
    potatoes cubed
  • 1 c
    chopped carrots
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 c
    chopped celery
  • 1 c
    parsley flakes
  • 1
    bouillon chicken broth cube
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 pkg
    velveeta cheese (1/2 lb)

How To Make cheesey potato soup

    Add the first seven ingredients together in a large soup pan.

    Cover with water and simmer about 20 minutes or until vegetables are done.

    Mix the 2 tablespoons of flour with the 1 cup milk and then add to soup and stir. Add velveeta cheese. When cheese is melted and blended with soup it is ready to serve.
