Ingredients

1-2 lb
fresh pork sausage or ground sirloin
1 c
fresh chopped onion
1 qt
tomato juice
1 can(s)
tomato sauce-medium
1 can(s)
tomato paste-small
1 can(s)
beer--regular or lite
1/4 box
thin spaghetti
3-4 Tbsp
chili powder
1 Tbsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper
1 tsp
cumin
1/4 c
sugar
1 can(s)
ranch style beans
1 can(s)
pinto beans
1 can(s)
northern beans
1- 1/2 gal
water

Directions Step-By-Step

Brown meat with onions. Cook until done, drain and put into large (2 gal or larger) heavy bottomed pot

Add all other ingredients to pot--saving water for last.
add water till desired thickness is reached and simmer for 45-60 min.
For hotter chili add cayenne pepper to taste.
For sweeter chili add more sugar to taste.
