A new chili to cook up, that I found at Allrecipes. Hoping to get my hubby to try it. He has been avoiding chili with chicken in it. Easy in the slow cooker.

Ingredients For chicken and corn chili (in the slow cooker)

  • 3-4 md
    skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 jar
    (16 oz) salsa
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    cumin
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • salt, to taste
  • ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 can
    (11 oz) mexican-style corn
  • 1 can
    (15 oz) pinto beans

How To Make chicken and corn chili (in the slow cooker)

    Place chicken and salsa in slow cooker, the night before you want to eat this chili. Season with spices. Cook 6-8 hours on LOW setting.

    About 3-4 hours, before you want to eat, shred the chicken with 2 forks. Return the meat to the pot, and continue cooking.

    Stir the corn and pinto beans, into the slow cooker. Simmer, until ready to serve. Makes 6 servings.
