Charleston Okra Soup

- large beef bone with plenty of meat
- medium onions, chopped
- 3 lb
- fresh okra, chopped
- 3 qt
- piece breakfast bacon
- large tomatoes or two 28 cans of tomatoes
- bay leaves
1Cook meat in 3 quarts water for two hours.
2Add onion, okra, bacon, tomatoes, bay leaves, salt and pepper to taste and let cook another 1-2 hours, adding more water if needed.
