Ingredients

avocado, peeled and coarsely chopped

milk
1/2 c
purpled onion, minced
1/2 c
chopped green chiles
1/4 c
sour cream
1/2 tsp
ground cumin
1/4 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
freshly ground black pepper
1 dash(es)
ground red pepper
crushed tortilla chips, for garnish

Directions Step-By-Step

Place avocado in the container of an electric blender or food processor, and process until smooth.

Combine pureed avocado, milk, and the next 7 ingredients; stir well.

Cover and chill thoroughly. Ladle into individual soup bowls. Garnish, if desired.
