My family is French-Canadian and my ex-husband's is Portuguese (from the Azores). We jokingly tell our children they are "French-u-guese" because of their mixed heritage. I created this soup as a combination of our two cultural backgrounds... enjoy!

2 Tbsp

Simmer, stirring constantly to prevent sticking and lumps, until the soup is slightly thickened.
7
Add the cooked potatoes to the thickened soup and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking or scalding.
