Honey Carrot Soup

Ingredients

3.5 c
carrots, sliced
1 c
chicken broth
1/2
onion, chopped
1/2 c
milk, 2%
1/4 c
honey
nutmeg, ground

Step-By-Step

1In large saucepan, combine carrots, chicken broth and onion.
2Cover and simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes, or until carrots are tender.
3Transfer mixture to blender or food processor; blend until smooth.
4Return to saucepan.
5Add milk and honey; return to simmer.
6Serve hot or chilled, sprinkled with nutmeg.
