Ingredients For ham & cheese soup

1 lgonion, chopped

1/2 ccelery, chopped
-
3 Tbspbutter
-
1/4 call purpose flour
-
3/4 tspdry mustard
-
2bouillon cubes
-
6 cmilk
-
2 ccheddar or american cheese, shredded
-
1 pkgmixed vegetables, frozen, thawed

1 tspworcestershire sauce
-
1 1/2 - 2 cham, finely diced
-
parsley, chopped
-
pimento, chopped
How To Make ham & cheese soup

1Cook onion & celery in the butter about 8 minutes, do not brown. Blend in flour & mustard.

2Dissolve bouillon cubes in 2 C of hot water. Gradually add to first mixture & cook, stirring, until thickened. Then cook 3 minutes longer.

3Add milk & heat just to boiling. Add cheese & stir until melted. Stir in remaining ingredients, except last 2 & heat. Sprinkle with parsley & pimiento.
