Easy CrockPot Potato Soup

Ingredients

1 pkg	frozen hash browns (30 oz.)
2 can(s)	chicken broth (14 oz.)
1 can(s)	cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
1/2 c	chopped onion
	salt and pepper to taste
1 pkg	cream cheese (8 oz.)

Angie's Notes:

So easy to make. Just dump it all in the crockpot, mix it up and wait for it to be done. Easy Peasy!

Mix all ingredients together (except cream cheese) in crockpot.

Cook on low for 5 hours (stirring occasionally.)

Cut up cream cheese and add to crockpot, cook an additional 30 minutes to combine. (stirring occcasionally.)

Garnish with bacon, green onions and shredded cheese.

I don't have a crockpot. How long to cook it on the stove? Any other changes to the recipe for that?

I've never made it on the stove, but I'm assuming it wouldn't take too long once the potatoes are good and warmed through and it gets thick.
