"Replacement for 1 packet of purchased onion soup mix." I do not have any idea where I picked this recipe up however I have put a few vacuum sealed packages together and have included them with all my other dry mixes, I keep stored in my pantry.

Ingredients For dry onion soup mix

  • 1/4 c
    dried onion flakes
  • 2 Tbsp
    low-sodium beef bouillon granules
  • 1/4 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1/8 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1/8 tsp
    paprika
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground black pepper

How To Make dry onion soup mix

    Stir the onion flakes, beef bouillon granules, onion powder, parsley flakes, celery seed, paprika, and black pepper in a bowl.

    Use as substitute for a 1-ounce envelope of dry onion soup mix.
