Diabetic Crock Pot Ham & Potato Soup

The ham base has 1100mg of sodium so I don't salt it at all. Serve it with bread heals for a poor man's lunch

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

2 large
red rose potatoes skin on diced
1 large
onion, small diced
1 tsp
ham base
1/2 c
milk
2 c
water
1 can(s)
campbell's condensed pepper jack soup
1 can(s)
campbell's condensed cream of celery soup
2 c
cubed ham
fresh cracked black pepper to taste
1/2 c
sour cream

Step-By-Step

1Put all ingredients, except sour cream, in crock pot in morning and mix well. If it looks like you need a little more liquid, add a little more milk.

2Turn the crock pot on low and forget about it until suppertime.

315 minutes before serving, while still in crock pot, stir in half a cup of sour cream.
