Want a comforting, family pleasing soup to combat the cloudy-weather blues? This is one of my most requested dishes! My husband loves it so much he learned to make it so he could cook it on nights that I work.

Ingredients

6
medium potatoes, diced
1 Tbsp
dried minced onion
2 clove
garlic, minced
1/2 tsp
sale
1/2 tsp
pepper
1 c
milk
12 oz
sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp
butter
1
knorr chicken bouillon cube, crumbled
1 c
chopped ham

Step-By-Step

1Place potatoes in a dutch oven or large sauce pan and cover with water by 1 inch.
2Add onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer until potatoes are tender.
3Mash potatoes in liquid with hand mixer or immersion blender. DO NOT DRAIN!
4Add remaining ingredients; cook and stir until cheese is melted. Serve!
