Mushroom-Spinach Soup

Unexpected company drop in right before dinner. You are desperate for something to add to the meal to "sophisticate" it up. This will do the trick.

Ingredients

1 pkg
frozen, chopped spinach (10 ounces)
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s)
milk or light cream (soup can)
sherry, to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook spinach according to package directions and drain well.

Pour soup, undiluted, into a blender, add spinach and blend until the spinach is chopped fine.

Move mixture to a saucepan and add the soup can of milk or light cream.

Add sherry to taste.

Heat to just below the boiling point and serve.
