Mushroom Barley Soup

Ingredients

4 c
sliced mushrooms
1 large
chopped onions
1 c
pearl barley
3 c
milk
2 c
water
2 Tbsp
butter
3 Tbsp
chicken base
1 tsp
white peppers
to thicken roux equal parts flour and margarine cooked

Step-By-Step

1Place all in stock pot Except milk & roux. Simmer until onions are cooked. Temper the milk in tc the soup. Add the roux to thicken. This soup should be on the thick side. ENJOY
