Always trying to come up with something new, Hubby likes Soup so yesterday was a soup day, he really enjoyed it, even had some for breakfast this morning.

Ingredients

4 c
chicken stock, no salt
1 large
head of broccoli (cut in small pieces
3 small
carrots, grated
1/2 c
celery leaves
1 small
onion diced
3 clove
garlic, diced
1/2 c
milk
1/2 c
cream
grated black pepper
2 c
grated sharp cheddar cheese

Step-By-Step

1Put the chicken stock in a large kettle, add all vegetables, bring to a boil, turn down to simmer cook until vegetables are tender
2Add about 1 cup of stock and all vegetables to a food processor and blend till smooth.
3Pour into another soup pot, add another 1 cup of stock, and 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup cream. Cook on low till heated through, add cheese stir till blended.
4Saved the rest of the stock and froze it for another time.
