CHILLED STRAWBERRY SOUP

|1 qt||strawberries, hulled|
|2 c||sour cream|
|4 Tbsp||lemon juice|
|1 tsp||vanilla extract|
|4 Tbsp||brandy (optional)|

This is a contender for my favorite thing to make (and eat). It is so easy and unbelievably tasty!! Just typing the recipe my mouth is watering.
Wash, hull, and clean strawberries.
Put all ingredients into a high speed blender.
Puree mixture until smooth.
Pour mixture through a fine strainer a little at a time into a big bowl.
Serve chilled. Optional garnish with creme fraiche and fresh mint.
