This is my soup from rounding up all the leftovers in my refrigerator that needed to be used up...so just use this as a basic rule of thumb and use those things found in your fridge to make your Round Up Soup.... can be casseroles,hamburger, gravy, veggies, sauces , rice etc..

Ingredients For round up soup

  • 16 oz
    bag northern dry beans
  • 15 oz
    can black beans,undrained
  • 1/2
    head cauliflower ,cut bite size
  • 1/4 c
    minced onion
  • 5 sm
    mini seeded and chopped bell peppers
  • 3 md
    chicken tenders, cut bite size
  • 1 tsp
    ea. oregano and thyme
  • 14 oz
    creamed corn
  • 1 c
    cooked rice
  • 1 c
    chopped kale
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • 1 Tbsp
    ea. dried chives and garlic powder with parsley
  • 1/2 c
    salsa, chunky
  • 2 stalk
    celery, diced
  • 2 tsp
    pepper
  • 3 Tbsp
    chicken bouillon granules
  • instant potatoes to thicken

How To Make round up soup

  • 1
    Place Northern beans in medium pan and cover 2 inches above beans with hot wter..Cook to boiling over medium heat.. then simmer for 20 minutes,covered.

    brown chicken pieces in a little oil in a soup kettle..when browned add the Northers beans and the water. Add remaining ingredients and stir to blend.

    Now add enouth water to make about 12 cups of soup in the pot(including the ingredients already in the kettle). Stir and cook over medium/low heat ..if soup needs thickening sprinkle some instant potato flakes over top and stir until you get your desired thickness.
