Quick Corn Chowder

Ingredients

3 slice
bacon, diced
1/4 c
onion, finely chopped
16 oz
can cream style corn
1/4 c
hot water
1 c
milk
1/2 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
1
fresh parsley, minced

Step-By-Step

1Place bacon and onion in a deep, 2 quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole.
2Heat, covered with paper towel, in microwave oven 3 minutes.
3Add remaining ingredients, except parsley.
4Stir to combine.
5Heat, uncovered, in microwave oven 5 minutes or until soup is heated through.
6Stir occasionally.
7Allow soup to stand 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
8Garnish with parsley.
