This is my husband's all-time favorite soup! I am so thankful it is quick and easy...with a hot loaf of sourdough bread, dinner is ready!

Stove Top

Ingredients

1 large
onion, chopped
1 stick
butter or margarine
2 can(s)
new england clam chowder
3 can(s)
cream of potato soup
2 can(s)
6-1/2 oz minced clams, drained
1 qt
half and half

Directions Step-By-Step

In a 6 qt pan, saute onion in butter until tender. Add soups and clams. Cover and simmer on low for one hour. Add half and half and continue to cook on very low heat for 30 minutes.

Ladle into bowls and top with chopped green onions or bacon bits, if you like.
