A thick and spicy, soupy one pot cooking, stew that will heat you up on a cold day.

Ingredients For tomato-potato ah, boloney stew.

  • 1 1/4 l
    chicken stock
  • 1/2 lb
    potato's, flowery, raw finely sliced
  • 1/2 lb
    pork sausage, mild -in fine strips
  • 1 c
    tomato puree
  • 1 can
    crushed tomato's or 3 diced fresh ones
  • 2 1/2 c
    leek, finely sliced
  • 1 md
    onion, diced
  • 1/2 - 1 Tbsp
    sambal badjak
  • 1 - 2 pinch
    chili powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 clove
    garlic, crushed, (if you want)
  • 1 tsp
    corn starch

How To Make tomato-potato ah, boloney stew.

    Add all main ingredients (except the corn starch) to the simmering chicken stock.

    Add spices to taste, but no more than stated, it will be hot enough for most people, remember that flavors first intensifies, then mellows.

    Leave to simmer slowly under lid for 45 min to 1 hour, mix in corn starch, stir and wait until thickened slightly, serve.
