This is a favorite of mine. I like to serve this with tortilla chips, & sour cream.

Ingredients For taco chili

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 sm
    onion
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 small can
    rotel green chilis
  • 1 can
    tomatoes, canned and chopped, with liquid
  • 1 can
    water (more if to thick)
  • 1 pkg
    buttermilk ranch salad dressing mix
  • 1 can
    pinto beans
  • 1 can
    light red beans
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1/4 Tbsp
    cumin

How To Make taco chili

    In medium sauce pan brown ground beef, and onion. add salt & pepper to taste. (drain off grease)

    In large stock pot add ground beef, and all other ingredients. mix well
  • 3
    Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, cover and cook for 1 hour.(can put in slow cooker on low all day.)

    Serve with chips, sour cream.
