Ingredients
- 1 - 15 oz cans peas
- 1 medium avocado, mashed
- 1/4 cup greek yogurt, plain
- 4 teaspoons lime juice
- 1 clove galic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/3 cup grape or cherry tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon cilantro, dried (optional)
- 1 teaspoon jalapeno peppers, finely chopped (optional)

Step 1Place peas in a medium bowl & mash thoroughly with a potato masher or fork. (Or puree peas in a small blender or food processor & transfer to a medium bowl.) Add avocado, yogurt, lime juice, garlic, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/8 black pepper, cumin & chile powder. Continue to mash until blended.

Step 2Stir in tomatoes, onion & some cilantro &/or jalapenos, if using. Season with additional salt & pepper, if desired. Enjoy!
