I won't eat canned chili. This is one of my mom's mater pieces. When I was a child, she would make huge batches of this and freeze in small serving containers so I could easily defrost and put on hot dogs or just eat it out of a bowl. YUM!

Ingredients For chili for hot dogs

  • 1 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1
    medium onion, chopped fine
  • 2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 c
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c
    ketchup
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make chili for hot dogs

  • 1
    Brown the beef. Add other ingredients. Simmer for one hour.
